The story begins in 1975 with the creation of the club and it's only 8 years later that the Vaud university students win their first Swiss men's volleyball championship title.
35 years later, the club has not lost its good habits since in 2018 it won again the Swiss championship title against Näfels.
One year later, we were able to follow live every weekend, the ups and downs of the Vaud club on the screens.
Indeed, after having eliminated Schonenw last week in semi-final. The LUC was facing Amriswil. The Thurgovians came with more certainty than the academics, after their mastered regular season.
But former Amriswil player Adrien Prével knows that "it is never easy to be first in class in the play-off. The pressure was on their shoulders", explains the French forward of LUC. So was LUC too strong or Amriswil too timid?
It doesn't matter for Lausanne, as this new victory allows them to add a 21st major title to the already well-stocked trophy cabinet.
